This dashing gentleman is Moses, the reason we are who we are & do what we do.
Not long after Crooked Creek Kennels was established, Krista began getting dogs dropped off in cages and tied to polls near the house. We like to think of these people, not as terrible, but as desperate. Desperate to find someone to take in a soul that wouldn't have a home otherwise. After realizing the mighty need her area had, she set up Moses House, a 501(c)(3) no-kill dog shelter. It is the only shelter in St. Helena Parish.
